Thailand is the member country of ASEAN (The Association of Southeast Asian Nations), and its GDP reached USD 373.8 billion, ranking 2nd above the ASEAN member countries in 2016, furthermore will reach USD 710 billion in 2030. Thailand is known for its thriving travel industry, but it also plays an important role in the auto manufacture industry. There were 2 million cars assembled in Thailand in 2016, and ranked 1st above the ASEAN member countries, 11th in the world.

METALEX Thailand is ASEAN’s historical and the largest machine tool and metal technology exhibition, which attracted more than 100,000 buyers and occupied 64,000 sqm. In 2016, There were more than 3,300 brands and 11 countries set up their national pavilions.
