Opening Ceremony

Presided over by H.E. Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Commerce Mr. Kittiratt Na-Ranong whose keynote speech has promoted confidence among investors and industrialists by confirming the government’s commitment to propel the industrial growth. In addition, H.E. Minister of Industry, Dr. Wannarat Charnnukul, M.D., congratulated and admired the co-location of both events and noted that the outstanding number of international brands featured at METALEX 2011 reflects their unwavering confidence towards Thai industry and its ability to quickly recover.

ฯพณฯ รองนายกรัฐมนตรีและรัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงพาณิชย์ นายกิตติรัตน์ ณ ระนอง ได้ให้เกียรติเดินทางมาเป็นประธานในพิธีเปิดงานพร้อมกล่าวปาฐกถาพิเศษเพื่อตอกย้ำถึงความมุ่งมั่นของรัฐบาลที่จะขับเคลื่อนการเติบโตของภาคอุตสาหกรรม นอกจากนี้ ฯพณฯ รัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงอุตสาหกรรม นายแพทย์ วรรณรัตน์ ชาญนุกูล ได้ร่วมกล่าวชื่นชมและยินดีกับการจัดงานทั้ง 2 งาน และจากการที่เจ้าของเทคโนโลยีแบรนด์ระดับโลกได้เข้าร่วมงานนี้กันอย่างคับคั่งย่อมสะท้อนให้เห็นถึงความเชื่อมั่นที่ไม่สั่นคลอนอันมีต่ออุตสาหกรรมไทยและศักยภาพในการฟื้นตัวอย่างรวดเร็ว

METALEX NANO Forum

Co-hosted by National Nanotechnology Center (NANOTEC), the full-day Forum unveiled how nanotechnology can contribute to solving the metalworking challenges by covering research breakthroughs, industrial innovations and impacts of nanotechnology on industrial community under the theme “Nano – Metalworking: Staying Ahead of the Game.”

A strong commitment of over 50 public and private organizations that joined forces with METALEX to empower delegates with the knowledge needed for achieving and sustaining manufacturing excellence. All topics covered various aspects to boost productivity and expand industrial visions on industrial and business trends and movements such as Thai Welding Industry in ASEAN Economic Community (AEC), Technologies to Cope with Natural Disasters and/or Environmental Management, Non-Damage Testing Techniques for Foundry Industry, Using Automation to Optimize Productivity and Profitability for Industrial Parts Manufacturers, Strategies to Drive Sustainable Growth for Family Business.
